Bio

Naciye is a Turkish-Swedish visual artist with Albanian and Bulgarian roots, based in Amsterdam and Barcelona. As the daughter of a serigraphy artist, she had a childhood shaped by summers spent in her father’s atelier, by the smell of paint and thinner, and by the rhythmic scrape of the racle. Art has remained a constant in her life ever since, alongside her work as a university professor.
